DESCRIPTION:A China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology (CALT) Long Marc
 h (Chang Zheng) CZ-8A rocket will launch a batch of 9 Hulianwang Digui sat
 ellites for the China SatNet Guowang internet constellation into orbit. Th
 is mission is known as SatNet LEO Group 17 (卫星互联网低轨17组) or
  SF-11 and the satellites are designated as Hulianwang Digui 17A/B/C/D/E/F
 /G/H/I.\n-\nThe Guowang satellite program can carry a variety of payloads\
 , including broadband communication payloads\, laser communication payload
 s\, synthetic aperture radar payloads\, optical remote sensing payloads\, 
 and others\, to meet the needs of different users and scenarios. It offers
  comprehensive technical support across numerous fields such as maritime a
 nd aviation operations\, information security\, navigation and positioning
 \, and meteorological research\, while also enabling expansion into the gl
 obal satellite internet access market. The eventual constellation is expec
 ted to grow to 12992 satellites. This will be made up of 6080 in the low o
 rbit GW-A59 sub-constellation at altitudes below 500km\, offering initial 
 broadband coverage. The rest will orbit in the higher GW-A2 sub-constellat
 ion at 1145 km\, providing a more global reach.
