Steinmann writes\, "The album is a musical expression of a harrowing personal experience. On Octo ber 7th\, 2023\, a stray bullet exploded through the window of my home - a n uninvited rupture of brutality that left no physical wounds\, but echoed through my life with emotional weight. This album channels that moment in to a raw\, blend of jazz\, blues\, rock\, metal\, and improvisational fire \, with each note bearing witness to vulnerability\, resilience\, and intr ospection. This isn’t simply a recounting of trauma\, it’s about recla iming it - weaving chaos into art that speaks to the fragility of safety a nd the strength of creative survival." Steinmann is prolific in performanc e\, recording and releasing\, and admired for his "genre-defying style\, t echnical prowess\, and deep emotional expression. "https://youtu.be/Rys1l Nd1Ng0?si=0szz1NN9htdpdll0https://youtu.be/cvawZPo-hi0?si=hu8tveIkh1kYNQDp Bassist Giulio Xavier Cetto's arrival from the Central Valley a decade ago immediately established him as a major player on the local jazz scene\; he travels widely and crosses genre boundaries spectacularly and without h esitation.
