DESCRIPTION:A Khrunichev Proton M rocket topped with a Blok DM-03 upper s
 tage will launch the fifth Elektro-L new generation weather satellite for 
 Roscosmos into geostationary orbit. The Lavochkin designed satellite resem
 bles the second generation of Russian geostationary meteorological satelli
 tes\, called Elektro-L (also designated GOMS (Geostationary operational me
 teorological satellite). It also features receivers for the SARSAT-COSPAS 
 emergency call system. Each satellite has a mass of around 1620kg and a de
