 n is the Stern Family Endowed Professor of Engineering at Tufts University
  and a Distinguished University Professor\, and a Professor in the Departm
 ent of Biomedical Engineering.  His research focus is on biopolymer engin
 eering to understand structure-function relationships for biomaterials\, t
 issue engineering and cellular agriculture.  He has published over 1\,000
  peer reviewed publications\, he is the editor-in-chief of ACS Biomaterial
 s Science and Engineering\, and he serves on many editorial boards and pro
 grams for journals and universities.  He has also received a number of aw
 ards for his research and teaching\, he was Elected Fellow American Instit
 ute of Medical and Biological Engineering\, he received the Society for Bi
 omaterials Clemson Award for contributions to the literature\, and he was 
 elected to the National Academy of Inventors and to the National Academy o
