DESCRIPTION:A Roscosmos Soyuz 2.1a rocket will launch a semi-civilian X-ba
 nd radar Earth observation satellite\, designated Obzor-R №1 \, into orb
 it.\n-\nObzor-R is was designed by TsSKB-Progress. In 2012\, the developm
 ent of the Arkon-2M radar satellite was stopped and instead the developmen
 t of the Obzor-R was initiated. The satellite features the BRLK X-band Syn
 thetic Aperture Radar as imaging instrument with a ground resolution of 50
 0m and has a designed service life of 5 years.\n-\nDelayed from late Decem
 ber 2023\, May and July 2024 and Q3.
