 nPlease note that the windmill will not be operational as the sails have b
 een removed as part of a major restoration project. The sails are on site 
 and can be inspected.\n\nThe centre opens at 11am so don’t arrive too ea

 ttend.\n\n \n\nVisit includes tours of the windmill and the Museum of Rur
 al Life\, for which there will be a donation. Depending on how many of us 
 there are\, we may be split into two groups. Details of timings and cost t
 o be sorted.\n\nWaltham Windmill - Come and experience the sights\, sounds
  and smells of a working windmill. Take a guided tour and find out how it 
 all works! Open 11am-4pm. Admission £3.00\n\nMuseum Of Rural Life - The M
 useum of Rural Life and the RAF Exhibition are an amazing trip back in tim
 e\, housed in a WWII Nissen hut next to the windmill. Open 11am-4pm. Admis
 sion by donation.\n\nMiniature Railway - The miniature railway that is nex
 t to the Mill centre was built and is operated by the Grimsby and Cleethor
 pes Model Engineering Society. Open from 12-4pm. Train rides £1.50.\n\n 
 \n\nFood outlets are available – a Danish café\, an ice-cream parlour a
 nd “Back to Basics” café.\n\nThere are also retail opportunities with
  a florist\, pottery\, blacksmith and wax gifts shops.
