What does an ancient Hawaiian fishpond look like? How did our kūpuna build and maintain it? What kinds of fish were grown and harvested from the loko i’a? The Waikalua Loko Fishpond Preser vation Society and the Pacific American Foundation invites you to come lea rn and support restoration efforts. Help us restore our rock wall against rising sea levels\, remove invasive limu\, pull mangrove keiki and cut ma ture mangrove\, and more. Please come prepared to work.7:00 Set-Up/Parkin g7:30 Registration &\; morning snack 8:00 Morning Circle.  Introdu ctions and Oli. We’ll organize groups and leaders\, distribute work tool s\, and head out to the site.11:30 – 12 noon.  Clean up &\; light l unch!
