DESCRIPTION:An Avio Vega C rocket\, designated VV?\, will launch the secon
 d batch of IRIDE Earth observation satellites for The Italian Space Agency
  ASI and ESA. The 11 satellites on this flight are designated IRIDE-HYP-PL
 ATINO 1–2\, IRIDE-MS1-EAGLET2 11\, IRIDE-SAR-NIMBUS 1–6\, IRIDE-SAR-NO
 X 1 and IRIDE-VHR-NIMBUS 1. IRIDE is a space-based observation program in
 itiated under the framework of Italy's National Recovery and Resilience Pl
 an (PNRR). IRIDE will be unique in its incorporation of a wide range of se
 nsing techniques and technologies\, including microwave imaging with Synth
 etic Aperture Radars (SAR)\, optical imaging at high and medium resolution
 s\, and coverage across panchromatic\, multispectral\, hyperspectral\, and
  infrared bands. Once operational\, IRIDE will be used to track the impact
 s of climate change and provide data to support startups and SMEs in creat
 ing commercial applications. Also aboard this launch are a number of Prom
 éthée satellites for the Japetus constellation. This mission is the firs
 t flight of Vega under the new management of Avio.\n-\nDelayed from Octobe
 r 1 and Q4 2025.
