DESCRIPTION:Join the University of California Sustainability Network in Eu
 rope for a special screening and discussion that brings together film\, sc
 ience\, and community. We're hosting an evening that combines the beauty o
 f nature documentary with real expertise from one of the leading researche
 rs in the field. We'll start watching the movie “Ocean with David Atten
 borough”\, a stunning look at marine environments around the world. The 
 documentary showcases incredible underwater footage while highlighting the
  urgent conservation challenges our oceans face today. Following the film
 \, Professor Douglas McCauley\, from UC Santa Barbara (also a UC Berkeley 
 alum!) will lead our discussion. As director of the Benioff Ocean Science 
 Laboratory\, he brings years of hands-on research experience and can speak
  to both the science behind what we see on screen and the practical work h
 appening in ocean conservation right now. This is also a chance to meet ot
 her UC community members who care about sustainability. Whether you're ne
 wly interested in environmental issues or already working in the field\, y
 ou'll find people with shared interests and diverse perspectives. The UC S
 ustainability Network connects people who want to make a difference in env
 ironmental issues. This event offers you a chance to learn from current re
 search\, meet people engaged in impactful sustainability work\, and see ho
