DESCRIPTION:A Firefly Aerospace Alpha rocket will launch on a flight desig
 nated FLTA007\, to send an LM 400 demonstrator for Lockheed Martin into sp
 ace. It will prove out the risk-reduction and pathfinding efforts the comp
 any has done for its mid-sized\, multi-mission satellite bus. LM 400 was d
 esigned with greater propulsion and better low Earth orbit (LEO)\, medium 
 Earth orbit (MEO)\, and geosynchronous equatorial orbit (GEO) operability 
 compared to others in its class. It also includes SmartSat\, a software-de
 fined architecture that gives customers even greater mission flexibility a
 nd the ability to perform on-board data processing. This is the second LM 
 400 demonstrator sat to be launched after the loss of the first one last y
 ear. The mission is named "Stairway to Seven". Alpha will also carry and t
 est new avionics in shadow mode for the upcoming Block 2 variant of the la
