SaTReC Init iative\, the Satellite Technology Research Center at KAIST\, and the Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) participated in the production of the microsatellite. The verification satellite is intended to validate the mi crosatellite constellation system's technology\, identified through the fi rst satellite in orbit. The verification satellite will be placed in an af ternoon orbit\, which enhances observation efficiency by imaging the groun d at a consistent time each afternoon. It will precisely verify on-orbit t hrust performance\, satellite altitude and spacing maintenance capabilitie s\, and image quality. The NeonSat constellation is the first satellite sy stem developed by the Korean government using a mass-production approach f or precise monitoring of the Korean Peninsula. Rocket Lab's mission will b e named "?".\n-\nNeonSat 2 (New-space Earth Observation Satellite) is a ~1 00kg Earth observation satellite with a high-resolution optical camera des igned to monitor for natural disasters along the Korean Peninsula by pairi ng its images with artificial intelligence. It is the first satellite deve loped under the NeonSat program by SaTReC and KAIST\, Korea’s leading u niversity in science and technology\, which developed and operated Korea ’s very first satellite KitSat 1 more than 30 years ago. Other NeonSat  satellites are planned to be launched in the next years to build out the N eonSat constellation.\n-\nDelayed from Dec. 5\, 7 and 9.\n\nWebcast: htt ps://www.youtube.com/live/6pVEWdZyCvY LOCATION:LC-1A (Rocket Lab)\, PVQ8+93\, Māhia 4198\, Neuseeland END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
