In the first block we'll u se memray to find memory leaks\, bloat\, and allocation hotspots in real c ode. In the second block we'll cover time profiling using Python 3.15's ne w built-in sampling profiler Tachyon (profiling.sampling)\, alongside com plementary tools like py-spy and samply\, to locate CPU bottlenecks witho ut heavy instrumentation overhead.\nEach block opens with a short (~30 min ) conceptual lecture on how the profilers actually work (sampling vs. trac ing\, allocation tracking\, flame graphs)\, followed by extensive live\, h ands-on profiling exercises on real example code. We'll set up the entire environment live with uv\, so there is nothing to install in advance.\nGi ven the limited number of participants\, all participants are expected to attend the whole workshop.\nThis is a virtual event and no payment or trav el is required for attending.  Participants are required to have their ow n laptop for the workshop.\nPlease contact the organizers (email us) in ca se of any questions.\nNotes for Participants\nPlease log in to indico to s ee all links in the menu bar on the left.\nTo participate in  discussions for the workshop we use a slack channel.
