DESCRIPTION:As a White queer Mad settler\, Blaze will be creatively invest
 igating the concept of “home” as an organising principle of settler co
 lonialism on unceded First Nations Land and how we may abolish the materia
 l\, affective\, ideological and relational processes working through settl
 er colonial homes that are deeply entangled within global systems of struc
 tural\, state-sanctioned violence\, creeping institutional power networks 
 (Gordon\, 1997\; Handel & Kotef\, 2023) and political-economies of genocid
 e (Human Rights Council\, 2025). Using the materials\, affects\, ideologie
 s and relations that currently are\, and historically have been\, associat
 ed with the “settler colonial home”\, Blaze will deconstruct and (poss
 ibly) reconstruct our imaginary\, emotional and moral landscapes in relati
 on to how we know\, be and do our place on unceded First Nations Land.
