 の要旨 】    本講義では、大学で生まれる基礎・前臨床
 研究が、どのように創薬開発へと接続され、早期臨床

 知成)では、創薬の歴史的な成功例・失敗例を通じて、
 基礎研究の成果が創薬仮説へ発展する過程や、臨床で

 庄功一)では、第Ⅰ相・第Ⅱ相試験を中心に、安全性評
 価、用量設定、Proof-of-concept取得における不確実性と課
 題、後期開発との違いを踏まえた早期臨床開発の戦略
 を概説する。    これらを通じて、大学での基礎研究の
 成果を 社会実装として、医薬品の「開発判断に使える
 研究」へと発展させるための考え方を学ぶ。

 遺伝情報からタンパク質を合成する生化学反応である
 翻訳は、厳密かつ多彩な制御を受けている。この制御
 の破綻は様々な生命現象の異常に加え、がんや神経変
 性疾患などの疾患にも関与する。近年、翻訳のオミク
 ス解析手法であるRibo-Seq（リボソームプロファイリング
 ）が開発され、非AUGコドンからの翻訳開始，ノンコー
 ディングRNA由来の短い機能性ペプチド，強い翻訳停止
 によるリボソーム同士の衝突と，それに起因する品質
 管理機構など，新たな翻訳制御機構が次々と明らかに
 なってきた。本講義では、Ribo-Seqの原理と技術的発展、
 およびRibo-Seqが切り拓いてきた多彩な翻訳制御の分子機

 人情報である一方、診断支援や創薬などAI活用の期待が
 大きい領域である。しかし現場では、施設外への持ち
 出し制限や倫理審査の制約から、クラウドや外部AIサー
 ビスの利用を断念する例も多い。匿名加工も情報量が
 失われ精度が下がる。Confidential Computingは、CPU/GPUのハー
 ドウェア機能によりデータを処理中も保護し、クラウ
 ド事業者やAIベンダーにも中身を見せない実行環境を構
 築する。さらにリモートアテステーションで、意図し
 たプログラムの実行を利用者が検証できる。本講演で
 は技術の要点とGPU対応を含む最新動向、多施設共同研
