 able sports shoes. Bring: - Mouthguard (compulsory\, students will be un

DESCRIPTION:As part of our Safety Inquiry this term our Year 3 students ha
 ve an opportunity to participate in the Auckland Transport Scooter Skills 
 Programme on Thursday 19th June.Your child will have a 35 minute session 
 with professional instructors. The purpose for this session is to encourag
 e a focus on identifying risks and using safe practices in different conte
 xts which links directly to our inquiry learning outcomes this term. Stud
 ents will need to bring their scooter and helmet to school on this day\, i
 f they have these. All students will need to wear closed toe shoes.Matai 1
  students will leave their scooter under the stairs below the pod.Matai 2 
 and 3 students will leave their scooters under the stairs in the central s
 tairwell.PLEASE ensure that scooters and helmets are clearly named.Our pro
 vider will have 10 scooters available for students that do not have one.Th
 e cost for this event is $6 and is payable on Kindo HERE.If you have any
