 r: Program of Remembrance and Reflection” at 225 French Street in Bang
 or\, Maine. The program will include poems by Michael Casey\, Yusef Komuny
 akaa\, Bobbi Trotter\, and others\, read by Nancy Dymond\, Dillon Murray\,
  Jerry Lyden\, and Jeff Sychterz\; reflections by Tom Bennett\, Nancy Dymo
 nd\, Rabbi Bill Siemers\, and the Rev. Jarrett Kerbel\; and music by Serge
 i Rachmaninoff and Carson Cooman\, played by Marisa Solomon\, Patricia Sto
 well\, and Jack Burt. A reception will follow. The program will be livest

DESCRIPTION:Second Saturday Meals\nFREE meal offered monthly from noon –
  1:30 pm for any in need of food and fellowship. Volunteers are always wel
 come and needed!  The proceeds from every 4th Sunday Plate Offering help f
 und this ministry. Second Saturday serves a monthly\, hearty lunch of bake
 d beans\, stir fried rice\, macaroni and cheese\, roast chicken\, fish sti
 cks\, hot dogs and deserts in addition to take home PB&J sandwiches and if
  there are leftovers\, take home “seconds” to 40 to 70 guests. New gue
 sts are often surprised by the variety and quality of our lunch.\nSecond S
 aturday serves a vital purpose however the number served varies quite a lo
 t because Second Saturday can occur anywhere from the 8th to the 14th. Foo
 d stamp cards are loaded around the 12th so sometimes Second Saturday happ
 ens when people have few alternatives and some months cupboards are stocke
 d.
