Long March CZ-4C • Gaofen 12-06

A China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) Long March (Chang Zheng) CZ-4C rocket will probably launch the Gaofen 12-06 remote sensing satellite for high-resolution Earth observation into orbit. The resolution is up to the sub-meter level, which is mainly used for national census, urban planning, crop yield estimation and disaster prevention and mitigation. Gaofen (“High Resolution”) is a series of civilian Earth observation satellites developed and launched for the state-sponsored program China High-definition Earth Observation System (CHEOS).
