Title: Non-supersymmetric string duality via Enriques surfaces Abstract: K3 surfaces have provided a powerful geometric setting for studying string dualities, enhanced gauge symmetries, and non-perturbative phenomena. In this talk, I discuss the possibility that Enriques surfaces play an analogous role in non-supersymmetric string theory, as suggested in my recent paper [arXiv:2601.22058]. An Enriques surface is closely related to K3 as a smooth quotient, but it naturally leads to compactifications without supersymmetry. Moreover, like K3, it has orbifold limits where perturbative string descriptions are available. These special points provide a controlled starting point for exploring non-supersymmetric models. I will explain why this geometry gives a natural basis for expecting dual descriptions, and how Enriques surfaces may offer a useful framework for studying which aspects of string duality survive without supersymmetry. If time permits, I will also mention our new results on heterotic strings compactified on Enriques surfaces, based on joint work with Elisa Marieni.
