Rata Team Stardome Trip

To support our inquiry into the Earth & Beyond this term, where students will be learning about how plants adapt and survive in a range of habitats, we will be visiting the Stardome Observatory. The trip will be divided into two sessions, one being a workshop on the above topic and the other will be a self guided tour around One Tree Hill. Full details of this trip are below:Date: Tuesday 26 August (GG34, GG 35 & 1/2 of GG 39) Time: Leaving school at 9:00am and returning by 2:30pmCost: $16.00 - payable on Kindo HERETransport: BusWear: Full school uniform including a hat and comfortable closed toe shoes, such as sneakersBring: Packed lunchbox (no Kindo lunch orders) and a full water bottle. Please consider packing a little extra food to keep energy levels up. Parent Helpers: We require some parent helpers to assist us with supervision on this trip. If you are available to assist us on this day please email Joanne Pulman (joannep@ellerslie.school.nz) ASAP and she will be in contact if we require your help. Please note that we cannot accommodate preschoolers as we need our helpers to be fully available to supervise our students. GG 39 students: Half our class will attend on Tuesday 26th August and the other half on Wednesday 27th August, so please check the date shown above carefully so you know what day your child will attend. If you have any questions about this trip please email your child's guardian group teacher directly.
