Kindergarten Reading Information Session

We would like to invite you to explore how we teach reading here at St Joseph’s Primary School. Over the afternoon, we will go through what a Kindergarten Literacy block looks like including how we teach reading. We will also discuss how home reading will run in Term 2. Teaching reading instruction is critically important for early literacy development, language skills and preparation for academic success. Reading instruction equips children to express themselves verbally and within their writing by developing their language development.
