UWA Symphony Orchestra Inner Spaces

The Ransom Prize is the Conservatorium’s annual award for composition, celebrating the next generation of classical composers. This concert features four new works by emerging artists, including a piece by the 2025 Ransom Prize winner, Joonwoo Kim. Each work responds to the striking interior of Winthrop Hall, taking inspiration from its arches, vaulted ceiling and majestic stained-glass window. The concert will conclude with music by Russian composer Sofia Gubaidulina.
