Falcon 9 B5 • R-6

A SpaceX Falcon 9 Block 5 rocket will launch the USSF-? mission (previously designated R-6) for the U.S. Space Force. Payload is probably a stack of 23 Starshield satellites. The mission likely is the 8th of 18 for the USSF's Space Based Sensing and Targeting (SBST) portfolio, which includes the Space Data Network (SDN) Backbone and the Space-Based Airborne Moving Target Indicator (SB-AMTI) program. The Falcon 9 booster is B10XX.X for this flight. Webcast:  https://www.spacex.com/launches/ussf432 https://spaceflightnow.com/
