Bi Visibility Day, also known as International Celebrate Bisexuality Day, takes place on 23 September. This day has been celebrated since 1999 and highlights bi-phobia and also helps people to find and join the bisexual community. International Celebrate Bisexuality Day was first observed in 1999 and was started by three activists from the USA: Wendy Curry of Maine, Michael Page of Florida and Gigi Raven Wilbur of Texas.
