Rip n Sew club members would like to extend a wonderful idea for Christmas.In lieu of traditional gifts for other members, we believe in the power of giving back to the community and making a difference.  We all find ourselves reflecting on the importance of compassion, kindness and the spirit of giving during the holiday season.  Inspired by the remarkable works of the Ronald McDonald House, we are asking our members to think about donating a grocery gift card to this wonderful organization.  These gift cards will help take some financial burden off these families facing challenging times.  The Ronald McDonald House has touched the lives of countless families, offering comfort and support during times of medical crisis.  These gift cards will help offset some of the families’ expenses during this time of year.  Please consider donating a gift card to any of the local grocery stores.The gift card can be as little as $10 or as much as you would like to give. Please remember we want to serve as many families as possible, example (2) $25 gift cards are better than (1) $50. There will be a jar to drop your gift cards in along the little Christmas tree.  Thank you in advance for bringing extra joy to these families. Gift card collecting will begin Sunday, November 16 and go through Sunday, December 14.  If you have any questions please call, Jolene Piaskowski at 402 212 4188 or email jolenepie@gmail.com. For the members that will choose to participate in Secret Santa please don’t think you have to do both, Secret Santa and grocery gift cards.
