H3-24W • HTV-X1

A Mitsubishi Heavy Industries H3 rocket will launch the first HTV-X Transfer Vehicle, an evolution of the original HTV. The mission is designated as H3F7. The HTV-X serves as an unmanned cargo vehicle to deliver equipment and supplies to the International Space Station. The first HTV-X will carry the H-SSOD ultra-small satellite deployment system and will deploy Nihon University's Tenko 2 CubeSat after departing from the International Space Station (ISS). The launcher will fly as 24W variant with two main engines, four solid strap-on boosters and a wide fairing. HTV-X1 Unit 1 will carry the ultra-small satellite deployment system H-SSOD as a technology demonstration mission and conduct a mission to deploy Nihon University's "Tenko 2" after departing from the ISS - Delayed from February, late 2022, Q2 2023, Jan. 3, February, Q2 2024, March and September. Moved forward from November.
