This professional learning series is designed to empower educators to enact the Teach. First Coaching Initiative. Through two interactive workshops, participants will develop the skills needed to provide constructive feedback, support implementation of high-impact strategies, and guide others toward exemplary teaching practices. Workshop 1: Explore major approaches to coaching. Learn how to provide positive and constructive feedback. • Identify missed opportunities for applying high-impact strategies. Workshop 2: Recognize the features of exemplary instructional practice. Develop strategies to support the implementation of effective teaching methods. Plan and execute coaching initiatives within your school or team. Who is this workshop relevant to? School Leaders, Teaching and Learning Leaders, Team Leaders, and Teachers who may be involved in coaching and supporting their colleagues to implement Insight-aligned high-impact teaching strategies. Teachers/Leaders completing this professional learning should NOT also complete the Refining High-Impact Instruction Professional Learning.
