Guest Speaker: Janey Devine FRPS "Documentary'"

Location: This meeting is in St Peter's Church Hall, Free Street, Bishop's Waltham, SO32 1EEAbout Janey: Having had a career in IT,  Janey was an early convert to digital photography and bought one of the first digital cameras in 1998.  A few years later, she sold her business and was able to combine her love of the sea with her growing passion for photography.Experimenting with many techniques, she strived to produce an “impression” of the landscape. In 2008, she was awarded her Fellowship of the Royal Photographic Society with a panel of images taken in East Anglia.More recently, she has become fascinated with documentary photography. She has worked on a number of Social Documentary projects and started the RPS South East Documentary Group.About the talk: Janey will discuss two of her most recent projects, describing some of the twists and turns and explaining the reasons behind the key decisions that have shaped their development.Website: www.janeydevine.comNon-members: You are welcome to join us for this meeting.
