This year, 9/10 Ag and Y11 Primary Industries students will be offered an overnightexcursion to Australian Agricultural Centre (https://australianagriculturalcentre.org/). Thedates of the excursion are Monday 3 rd and Tuesday the 4th of November 2025. Students will sleep in a yurt tent style accommodation (you need to bring bedding/ swag)and all meals and activities will be provided by centre staff. Please complete your permission for them to attend on Compass and make sure any newmedical information is updated. Your child will also received 2 forms from the centre askingfor permission to use photos for publicity purposes. These need to be filled in and returnedTransport to and from Australian Agricultural Centre will be the school bus.Students are required to meet in the school bus bay on Monday the 3rd of November at 7:45am for a7:50am departure. You will be required to pick your child up from school at approximately5pm on Tuesday the 4th of November. They will text you to let you know if the time arrivingback at school will change. Please note that students who bring mobile phones or other electronic devices on thisexcursion will be asked to hand them in once we arrive at Crookwell. If your child is found tobe in possession of a mobile phone or other electronic device after this it will be confiscatedfor the remainder of the excursion. They will be given it back on the return trip. NB: If your student does not uphold school expectations you will be asked to comeand get them. Or if this is not possible, they will not be allowed to attend any furtherexcursions. What to wear:jeans/ long pants, long sleeve shirt, hat, boots Luggage for the excursion should be limited to one bag.Items to bring:? Spare Sunsafe Ag clothes for day 2 : jeans/ long pants, long sleeve shirt, socks andunderwear? Pyjamas? a change of Evening wear including a jumper as it does get cold in Crookwell? Toiletries, soap, lip balm and insect repellent (no aerosols)? towels? Pillow case and two single flat sheets? Plastic bags for dirty or wet clothes?
