(NET) Long March CZ-3B/E • TJS 22

A China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) Long March (Chang Zheng) CZ-3B/E rocket will launch the Communications Engineering Test Satellite 22 (TJS 22 or TXJSSY 22 for Tongxin Jishu Shiyan 22, 通信技术试验二十二号), a spacecraft in a series of Chinese demonstration missions into a Molniya orbit. According to official reports it was built by SAST and will be mainly used for satellite communications, radio and television, data transmission and other services, and to carry out related technical tests and verifications. But it is suspected to be for a missile early warning system. The launcher will fly as CZ-3C/G2 variant with a 4m fairing.
