D’ni Holiday: the Great Fall

Today is 8 Leesahn in the D’ni calendar. It marks the date of the Great Fall of the D’ni civilization. Like the turning of a book page to begin the next chapter, this darkest day in modern D’ni history.Caused by the social revolt of D’ni citizens Veovis and A’Gaeris, who placed a deadly gas in the air vents of D’ni, which infected and later killed any D’ni who came into contact with it. This nearly brought about the extinction of the D’ni civilization, except for those found within a few uncontaminated ages. These two were also the source of several tremors which destroyed much of city, and the damage we see today not caused by the ravages of time.It is a date that can only be remembered with sorrow.
