Y7/8 E.Z. Basketball Girls Competition

A group of Year 7/8 girls have been selected to represent Ellerslie School in the Year 7/8 Eastern Zones Girls Basketball competition. Full details of this competition are:Date: Tuesday 19th AugustTime: Leave Ellerslie School at 7:45am, return by 2:30pm (please assist your child in arriving at school by 7:40am on this day so we can leave on time)Venue: Barfoot & Thompson Stadium, 203 Kohimarama Road, Kohimarama (all whānau are welcome to come and support us)Transport: School vanPermission: Our EOTC blanket permission form covers this tripWear: Students will be given a zones sports shirt to wear. They should also wear their P.E. shorts and comfortable sports shoes. Bring: - Packed lunch box- Full water bottle- Uniform fleece jumper or jacket- Raincoat, if requiredImportant: All students MUST wear a mouth guard while on the court. These can be purchased for around $10 from Rebel Sport, The Warehouse etc. No mouth guard = no game time.Parent Helpers: We require one parent to help with scoring (not umpiring). This task involves working a non electronic scoreboard (ie turning over numbers!) If you or another responsible adult (grandparent, aunt/ uncle etc) are available to help on this trip please email dylans@ellerslie.school.nz ASAP.
