Gagamin and Miimi Birrang

The programs are curriculum linked across all KLA and aim to inspire and motivate our students to become engaged in their education, learn about their identity and be driven to become competent young adults that know who they are, where they want to go and who contribute highly to society. They are essentially cultural engagement programs designed to build self-esteem, confidence, resilience and wellbeing. It is hoped that the programs will ignite a passion for the students to seek knowledge about our true history and open the door for them to connect to their culture, country, family and community.The programs will address men's business, women's business and bring the groups together for community sessions. On-country experiences will be included and led by local facilitators that provide meaningful insight into land, waterways, history and cultural activities that strengthen connection to place.
