A SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket will launch the 6360kg Griffin lunar lander for Voyager Technologies (previously Astrobotic), as part of NASA's CLPS lunar program (CLPS 20A). Griffin Mission 1 (GM1) will land near the lunar south pole at Mons Mouton and Nobile crater. Aboard the lander is also Voyager's own BEACON CubeRover, European Space Agency's LandCam-X landing-camera system and Nanofiche GLPH (Galactic Library to Preserve Humanity), a tiny archive of human history, to the moon's surface. NASA's VIPER rover was removed from this mission. This Falcon Heavy flight will feature side boosters B10XX.X and B11XX.X, which will return for a RTLS landing at LZ-2 and LZ-40, plus center core B1099. - Delayed from November 2024, December 2025 and November.
