Ready, Set, Teach (Ski B)

In Ready, Set, Teach, you can expect a full day clinic that will introduce or refresh you on what an instructor day at ASA is like from start to finish. You will get familiarized with the layout of the building, where equipment/tools live, etc. We will cover how to prepare for your lesson, what a lesson might look like in action, and how we wrap up a lesson at the end of the day. In this clinic there will be a lot of practice with commonly used physical assist devices and discussions on why we would use them. Finally, in small groups, you will get a mock student file in which you will get practice running a lesson from start to finish.
