Senior Swimming Sports

On Thursday 12th March, students in Years 5-8 can take part in the Ellerslie School Swimming Sports held at Sacred Heart College Aquatic Centre, West Tamaki Road.  This event is open to Year 5-8 students who can swim at least 25 metres in a deep pool without assistance (this is the length of a full-sized public swimming pool).  As this is a competitive swimming event, not all students will be expected to attend. Students who are unable to swim the necessary distance will remain at school for the day.Students attending this event will need to bring swimming togs, towel, goggles and swimming cap (optional). Students should wear their togs and P.E. gear to school (official house shirt acceptable). Students must also bring morning tea, lunch and water (no Kindo orders will be available).Parents and whānau are welcome to attend and support this event. Parent volunteers are also needed to be time keepers. If you are able to help, please indicate on the permission form linked below.Please complete the online permission form below by Monday 2nd March.
