Year 12 Biology students will be traveling to Sydney to attend workshops at Taronga Zoo and The Museum of Human Disease at UNSW that will support their studies in class and help consolidate their learning.Students are asked to be at the front of the school at 6.30am for a strict 6.45am departure for the excursion. Students will travel with Mrs Keefe and Miss Freebairn in Mrs Keefe’s car to Sydney. We will stay overnight at the ISIS World Square in the CBD.Students will need to bring lunch and snacks for the first day, and bring money to purchase dinner and lunch for the second day. A simple breakfast will be provided. Please pack a small overnight bag with a change of clothing and pyjamas, toiletries, pens and clipboard (work booklets will be provided). Students are able to wear neat casual clothing with covered comfortable shoes. We will attend workshops at Taronga Zoo (Heredity and genetic change) on the 25th June and at UNSW (Infectious and noon infectious diseases) on the 26th June. We will leave UNSW at approximately 2.00pm for a 7pm arrival back at School.
