Children's Day LOTE Exc'n to Japanese Gardens

Year 7 and Stage 5 LOTE students will depart from the front of the school at 8:45am and will walk to the Cowra Japanese Gardens. At the conclusion of the day the students will walk back to school to arrive by 3pm in time for buses. The students will enjoy incredible Japanese cultural activities such as a formal Japanese Tea Ceremony, a Kimono exhibition, a comedian discussing the amusing differences between Australian and Japanese cultures, Origami challenges, Kabuki Performances and Japanese Archery. This will be an amazing opportunity for your students to learn more about Japanese culture and practice their Japanese language skills. Can all students please bring the following: Wear sports uniform, hat, sunscreen, water, food for recess and lunch. There will be no opportunity to buy any food on the day, so please ensure your child has enough food for the day. Students will need their backpack for food, drink and sunscreen.
