Location:30Sir Winston Churchill AveSt Albert AB T8N 3A3To Register:Send your name, phone number, email address and company to PSES.AFRRCS-Training@gov.ab.caOverview:The Alberta First Responders Radio Communication System (AFRRCS) offers a no cost Technical Administrator and Crypto Officer (TACO) course for anyone that is interested in learning how to provision radios, set up TalkGroups etc on the AFRRCS systemAFRRCS Technical Administrator (TA) - covers P25 technology and AFRRCS implementation ,basic trunking features, fleet mapping, accessing the UAS database, and radio provisioning AFRRCS Crypto Officer (CO) - course covers system administrators and managers with the knowledge and skills to manage encryption keys using the Key Management Facility (KMF) product in a P25IP network. This includes defining Crypto Officer Administration classes and user privileges; managing Crypto Officer user accounts; configuring crypto nets; and rekeying talk groups, users and system keys using the Unified Administration System (UAS). Pre-requisites:Each participant must bring a Windows-based computer with administrative rights.Please note: Apple MacBooks are not supported.
