ACTIVITY DESCRIPTIONThe Koʻolau Foundation is a cultural heritage preservation program. The mission is to pursue and promote Hawaiian cultural and environmental practices, preservation and education. The cultural service work in Haʻikū generally occurs on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month. Because the valley has a locked gate, we will need to enter the valley together. The gate will be locked once all our vehicles have entered the valley. We'll work until about noon, have lunch and story-telling, and leave the valley around 1:30 pm.
