Matai 3 Howick Historical Village Trip

Mataī Team are visiting Howick Historical Village as an end of year celebration, to make links to our NZ Histories curriculum and to participate in some fantastic experiences that link to our Term 4 Science topic of changing states of matter.On our trip we will churn butter, learn about helpful herbs and play some outdoor games from the 1800s.There will also be time for a self guided tour through the village and a picnic lunch on site.Our pods will visit the village on different days so please take note of what day your child will attend this trip below:Dates:Monday 1 December - Mataī 3 (GG 7 & 8)Tuesday 2 December - Mataī 2 (GG 4, 5 & 6)Wednesday 3 December - Mataī 1 (GG 1, 2 & 3) Transport: BusCost: $24 - payable on Kindo HERE Permission: EOTC Blanket Permission FormWear: All students should wear full and correct school uniform along with their sun hatBring: Packed lunch box and full water bottle (no Kindo lunch orders available), raincoat if neededParent Helpers: Do you fancy a step back in time? We will need plenty of parent help for these trips so pack your lunch too.
