Located in the 'ili of 'Āhuimanu within the ahupua'a of Kahalu'u, this ancient Hawaiian agricultural complex is the largest intact terraced lo'i system on O'ahu & the best example of Kanaka Maoli expertise in this type of engineering. It is our mission to mālama the people, resources, history, wahi pana, and community well being of the Kahaluʻu ahupua’a on Oʻahu. Our vision is to be an established collective of voices to advocate for the Kahaluʻu community.​ To learn more about the organization, visit their website https://www.kaiauluokahaluu.org/ and  check out their blog and follow them on instagram. TO BE PREPAREDStudents may assist with vegetation clearance, maintenance, and/or out-planting using a variety of hand and power tools depending on level of skill and the assigned tasks for the day.
