Children's Day

To support your child’s learning of Japanese language and culture, your child will be attending the Cowra Japanese Garden’s Children’s Day Event on Friday 1st May 2026. The activities that your child will participate in will be a Japanese Tea Ceremony, Origami workshops, Bonsai Workshops and many other Japanese cultural activities. This is an incredible opportunity for our students to immerse themselves in Japanese culture and language, supporting their learning in the classroom. Students will meet at School at 8:40am. The roll will be marked and we will walk to the Cowra Japanese Gardens. Students will participate in activities all day and walk back to School by 3pm. All students are to wear their Sports Uniform, joggers and a hat. Sunscreen must also be worn and taken in their backpacks. Please ensure students have all food for Recess and Lunch as well as a water bottle as there is no opportunity to purchase food or drinks. There is no cost for this event.Mobile phones are not allowed on the day.
