PLEASE NOTE TO GET THE BEST RESULT FOR THIS ACTIVITY: THE DATE WAS MOVED FROM SEPTEMBER.Will keep you all advised.Club Activity: Annual club walk: Totnes Valley 'Joe's walk' on the Barigan west Fire Trail.Date: Sunday 18th October 2026Leader(s): Joby & Ivy Club Grade:    E/medium                         Walk Distance: 9-10kmActivity Description: Walking the Barigan (west) fire Trail to see some great views, walk past a unique rock formation local call 'camel Rock', time to explore in the valley of the orchids??Undulation terrain walking along a cleared fire trail. and Travel Notes: Drive north along Ulan/Wollar Rd meet-up at Cooyal Hotel (outside) to collect others approx 9:00am and drive a further 6km to start of the trail.Meeting Place: Lovejoy Street carpark (Douro Street entrance) for registering and carpooling (as reqd).Meeting Time: 8:30amWhat to Bring: PPE suitable to for walking, BYO lunch to enjoy on the walk and hydration ++, personal first aid kit, gaiters optional, walking poles optional.Map Ref: MunghornAll participants to pay attention to activity safety briefing at commencement of activity.
