Rimu Ambury Farm Trip (GG 28, GG 29, GG 32)

As part of our Discovery inquiry into seasons and what happens in our environment, the Rimu Team is planning an Education Outside The Classroom experience to the Ambury Farm Regional Park. This hands-on experience will help us observe how the environment changes with the seasons and learn more about animals, plants, and farm life. It’s a great way to see nature in action and deepen our understanding of the world around us. Full details of this trip are below:Date: Wednesday 3rd September (GG 28, GG 29, GG 32)Time: Leaving school at 9:00am and returning by 2:30pmCost: $17.00 - payable on Kindo HERETransport: BusWear: Full school uniform including a hat and comfortable closed toe shoes, such as sneakers or gumboots (the farm might be muddy and we will go ahead if it's raining)Bring: Packed lunchbox (no Kindo lunch orders), a full water bottle and raincoat. Please consider packing a little extra food to keep energy levels up. Parent Helpers: We require some parent helpers to assist us with supervision on this trip. Please note that we cannot accommodate preschoolers as we need our helpers to be fully available to supervise our students. If you have any questions about this trip please email your child's guardian group teacher directly.
