(NET) Long March CZ-12A • Test Flight

A Shanghai Academy of Spaceflight Technology (SAST) Long March (Chang Zheng) CZ-12A rocket will launch on its first flight. The first stage was previously used as a hopper for test flights. The two stage CZ-12A rocket is powered by 7 Longyun methaLOX engines on the first stage while its second stage is propelled by one YF-209V methaLOX engine. The first stage is built to be reusable and features recovery hardware like gridfins and landing legs.
