A Roscosmos Irtysh rocket will lift off from Baikonur Cosmodrome on its first test flight. It will carry a mass-size evaluation model (GMM, Gruzovo-Masovoy Maket, Габаритно-массовый макет) instead of a payload. The Irtysh rocket (aka. Soyuz 5 or Союз 5, formerly codenamed Fenix or Sunkar) is intended as a replacement for the Zenit 2 launcher and equipped with an RD-171MV engine on the first stage and two RD-0124MS engines on the second stage, with both stages using keroLOX as propellant. - Delayed from 2024.
