This Monday May 15th is the commemoration of the Qartmin father Mor Shmuel (+409) according to the Liturgical Calendar of the Syriac Orthodox Church. Mor Shmuel is one of the founders of Qartmin Monastery now known as Mor Gabriel Monastery (Dayro d-Mor Gabriel /Deyrulmur) in Tur Abdin Turkey.
