You've probably heard about the terrible events that our missionaries, Mary Beth and Bayo, related to us about the attacks on Christians in Nigeria, and specifically, Christian Pastors and their families. Mary Beth & Bayo have given us more details about what they are hoping to do to help restore and rebuild homes and support centers for pastors and their families in their area. We would like to help them in this effort, and to that end, have set a date to hold a kick-off fundraiser on Sunday, May 17 after service. To keep it simple and straightforward, we propose to hold a 'Bring your favorite ethnic dish' potluck with a free-will offering. We'll start with some appetizers after service in Fellowship Hall, followed by a presentation by Pr. Tom. After which we will have lunch/brunch.
