Club Activity: Mt Knowles  - (private property) Date: Sunday 12 July 2026 Leader(s): Bill K & Eric C & property owner   Grade:   Difficult    Walk Distance:14km Activity Description: Walk from property owners residence (Melrose Road) walk in easterly direction (approx 5km) then S.E direction along ridge line to Mt Knowles trig, appox 2km  (approx 1000metre altitude) and  Conditions: Some steep grades. Possible 'scrambling' involved. Will be navigating rocks, fallen timber and scree. Walking poles recommended. What to Bring: PPE suitable to for walking, BYO lunch and hydration ++, personal first aid kit, gaiters optional, walking poles optional, walking poles recommended. Meeting Place:  Lovejoy Street carpark (Douro Street entrance) for registering and carpooling (as reqd). Meeting Time: 8:15am As this walk is on a private property, address for the walk will be supplied at meeting point. Noting the location of start of walk is approx 10mins from Mudgee township. Map Ref: Lyn to supply from club topographic maps. All participants to pay attention to activity safety briefing at commencement of activity. The Leader(s) will distribute club equipment as required.
