If you cannot make it, please email csssl@hawaii.edu for a make-up assignment. For this final reflection, we will share thoughts, ideas, and experiences about our service-learning this semester. Here is what we will reflect on:What is your role in Hawai‘i (descendant, settler, visitor, refugee)? How has MINA changed your perception of your kuleana – duty, responsibility, privilege – in that role? How is your discipline of knowledge and intended career contributing to the destruction and/or restoration of ‘āina and Indigenous cultures? How can the ahupua‘a system be applied in managing your personal and professional life? How has service-learning helped you learn and engage with what you learned in your class(es)? Can mālama ‘āina values be applied in any class?Although this is the closing activity, you can still participate in MINA activities in the future, for the ʻāina, for your own health, for fun, and for other classes. You are always welcome.COORDINATORSSite: Kaʻiminaʻauao JohnsonMINA: Makana, Ulla, RubenQuestions or directions needed on the way? Call Ulla at 808 330 1276.
